OVERVIEW

Not headed off on a fall break adventure? Come climbing for a day at Franklin Crag in WV. It’s only about 2hrs away, with plenty of variety in the 5.8 – 5.12 range for sport climbs.

If you’d like to practice your lead climbing skills or learn how to lead, this is a good trip to do it. There are plenty of moderates at Franklin (5.9 – 5.11) and it’ll be perfect climbing weather (mid 70s, no chance of rain).

People who can drive and/or lead climb get priority. If you have any questions about your ability level or want to learn something specific, shoot me an email.

What to bring: climbing gear, 2L+ water, food (lunch + snacks), dinner $$, warm layers (it is the mountains!), headlamp, camera, bug spray, first aid, and a big pack to throw everything in

Club provides: ga$ reimbursement, climbing gear you need, a super awesome time
