Hey everyone! With the lovely Spring weather coming in, I thought I’d plan a hike for this Sunday. This hike follows The Dark Hollow Trail and features a couple of stops along the Appalachian Trail as well, and features numerous waterfalls and a super peaceful walk alongside the river(Plus an abandoned mine, but it’s pretty hard to spot now). It’s 6 miles with ~1500 feet of elevation gain, so certainly steep but doable(Moderate-Advanced). It’s set to be a little cooler Sunday at the higher elevation(Upper 40’s), so I would still bring a jacket, but no one should get hypothermia(Fingers crossed). Yah boi has a vehicle and NP pass, so no worries in terms of fees or transportation :-). I will select people randomly off the waitlist about a day after it’s posted. Have a great week!

What to Bring:
– Water
-Shoes(Probably Hiking, or at least okay/safe with getting wet)
-Maybe: Swim Suit(It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done Dark Hollow, and I can’t quite remember if there are accessible swimming holes, but it doesn’t hurt to have them just in case if you’re interested…this is totally optional)
