Sunday Morning HighTop Peak Trail

OVERVIEW

Do you like hiking? I like hiking and want to get out and explore the beautiful blue ridge mountains and maybe take some sick pictures. Hightop Peak Trail is 2.8 miles out and back with just under 1000 feet elevation gain (and loss). Let’s enjoy the views and snacks on what should be clear Sunday!

Itinerary:
– 10 AM: Meet and leave from Echols.
– 10:45 AM: Arrive at trailhead & begin hiking (Hightop Mountain Parking Area.
– 1:15 PM: Return to trailhead and head back.
– 2:00 PM: Return to grounds.

What to Bring:
– Water (2+ Liters).
– Comfortable hiking shoes/boots.
-Snacks
– layer in case its chilly

Drivers will get priority off the waitlist as I don’t have a vehicle!!! Hopefully someone has a Shenandoah Park pass, otherwise we can figure out parking. More people can come if we get drivers!
