In order to climb on ropes, you must be belay certified at the gym.
If you know how to belay, you can take the belay test and become certified (call 804 897 6800).
If you do not know how to belay, you can sign up for a class ($30, call to reserve) in the future. Belay class schedule is as follows:
Monday – Friday 6:30pm
Wednesday 9:30am
Saturdays at 1:00pm and 6:30pm
Sundays at 1:00pm
For this specific trip if you are unable to belay, you may still climb on ropes if you have someone to belay you. Otherwise, you can choose the bouldering only option and still have a great time!
