OVERVIEW

(Reposting so the email gets sent!)
What a great Sunday to go climb at one of the best gyms in the country! With USA Climbing Divisionals on April 1st, this is a perfect way for you hardcore climbers to get in some last-minute practice before heading off to Hackensack. However, even if you have no idea what that means, Sportrock offers a wide range of bouldering, toprope, and lead climbing for all skill levels! Their rope walls are some of the tallest you’ll find and the routesetting is consistently creative and fun. Even if you’re more geared towards outdoor climbing, or are brand new to the sport, you’ll have a blast!

Disclaimers:
** DRIVERS NEEDED! Drivers will get gas reimbursed + 50% tip (up to $20), and priority off the waitlist. **
** This trip will be partially split: Sportrock offers its main facilities (general bouldering and ropes), and a Performance Institute (competition-style bouldering). The facilities are next to each other and connected, but each has a separate day pass cost. While you’re welcome to purchase both day passes, this trip will be planned under the assumption that each person will choose one facility to spend their time. Note that both facilities will have a wide range of skill levels, but the Performance Institute is geared towards comp-style bouldering which may be slightly less beginner-friendly than Sportrock Proper. Your choice can be made day-of and won’t affect getting off the waitlist. **
** PLEASE GET GEAR IN ADVANCE! – I do NOT plan on stopping by the gear room the day of the trip. Check out whatever you’ll need beforehand (pack list is below). If plans change they will be communicated beforehand in the trip group chat.**
** End time is negotiable – if certain people want to stay later / leave earlier, we can work that out (I’ll make a group chat 1-2 weeks before). If your schedule would not be possible to accommodate (in terms of drivers), I’ll reach out to you before adding you to the trip.**

Questions about the trip or climbing in general? I’ve climbed a rock or two, let me know and I’m happy to talk to you about it! I’m always looking to get more people into the sport.
