Sunday Sunrise Humpback!

OVERVIEW

I’m not sure about you guys but this warm weather has got me wanting to get outside and do a hike! My roommate and I love doing sunrise hikes, and what better way to start your week than with a beautiful view and a workout? Humpback is a super chill hike, about 1 mile to the top, so whether you are a complete beginner or have been hiking your whole life, this trip is for you! Also, the humpback sunrise is a must-see (especially as a UVA student, if you haven’t done this hike wyd??). Don’t be intimidated by the early start time because it is 100% worth it, and remember the early bird gets the worm!! Hope to see you there 🙂

Schedule:
5:45: pickup
6:30: arrive at trailhead
6:30-7:00: hike up to top
7:00-7:30: watch sunrise
7:30-8:00: hike back down
8:00-8:30: back to Charlottesville!

what to bring:
– Headlamps (the hike up in the dark can be dark and scary ngl)
– Good shoes
– Water
