Sunrise at Humpback

OVERVIEW

Wednesdays are generally an awful day, so why not at least start it off outside? Humpback’s a little steep, but it’s short(~1 mile) and we’ll have plenty of time for breaks.

We’ll be leaving Echols around 6:05, which should put us at the parking area around 6:35, giving us plenty of time to get to the top and fully appreciate sunrise at 7:24. We’ll be back in Charlottesville by 8:45(in time for 9 AM classes)

What to Bring
– water
– sturdy shoes
– breakfast if you want
– jacket/warmish clothes(it might be cold at the top)
– headlamp/flashlight(you can get one from a gear room)
– backpack if you have a 9 AM

I have a car but other drivers would be great so more people can come. Gas is reimbursed plus 50% tip
