sunrise humpback bonanza!

NEW MEMBER PRIORITY!
Do you not have class in the morning? Or maybe you just like getting up before the sun for whatever reason. Either way, come start the Halloween month (or October) off right with a sunrise hike over at Humpback Rock!

It’s an easyish 2 mile hike (very accessible to new hikers), but there’s plenty of spots to take breaks. The motivator will be racing the sun, but I scheduled in enough time to rest if needed. The views will be worth it!

Timeline:
5:15 – Meet at Echols (and then depart)
5:45 – Arrive at Humpback & start hiking
6:15ish – Get to the top and watch first sunrise of september!
7:00ish – Hike down
7:30ish – Drive back
8:00ish – Back at Echols

You bring
– Water
– Hiking shoes (Sneakers can work fine but will be less comfortable)
– Layers (Chilly morning)
– headlamp!!

We bring:
– First aid kit
– Cars
– Good attitude
– a birthday!
