Weather is supposed to be near 70 degrees…lets get outside and climb.
(i’m going to rip off most of behrens description):
Heading to Franklin WVA, Riversbend crag on Saturday to climb some wonderful blue and white limestone as opposed to sandstone / limestone of the main area. The easiest route at the bend is 5.9…so must limit the trip to persons who can climb 5.9 cleanly…plan on leaving around 8, be on the rock by 10. home by 7:30 (give or take dinner plans while on the trip). As this is a day trip, club will pick up gas, you must provide food and water. If you need gear, make sure to visit the gear room….
2 options to get across the river…wear shorts and tevas (knee deep water but cold) or take the tyrolean…its up to you
