ABSTRACT:
Sunsets are pretty, especially over water. Friday will be gorgeous. Some of our most profound moments in nature happen in “backyard nature.”
DISCUSSION:
Want a low time commitment relaxing evening outdoors? Look no further than nearby Ragged Mountain to hone your SUP Skillz, bear witness to Apollo riding away with the sun, and hangout with cool peeps.
Sunset is at 7:30. We will leave Echols at 6, and get a hearty serving of paddling and hanging while the sun goes down. Feel free to bring (B)YOB, hammocks, instruments, blankets and picnic accoutrements and we will see where that takes us.
No paddleboarding experience necessary, I’ll teach you. You do need to be comfortable swimming though in the event that you fall in.
METHODS:
I Bring: Paddleboards, lifejackets, and paddles
You Bring: Bathing suit, layers, water, towels, whatever else you desire for a good evening
DRIVERS NEEDED! There will be no reimbursement b/c Ragged Mountain is SO dern close to Grounds
CONCLUSION:
Get outside! Watch the day end and the night begin
