OVERVIEW

i asked charlie what his favorite sunset spot in SNP was and he said stony man, so let’s see if it lives up to his adulation.

copying and pasting from one of his past trips here: “it’ll be a semi-lengthy drive for a super shockingly short hike, but seeing the sunset with scenery and so many staggeringly stunning people will be so satisfyingly superb, seriously.”

the plan:
– 3:40 PM depart from the culdesac by the castle
– 5:10 PM trailhead
– 5:40 PM reach the summit
– 5:54 PM the sun goes down
– 7:00 PM back our motorized vehicles
– 8:30 PM grounds sweet grounds

to bring:
– layers! i may even bring a blanket
– dinner/snacks
– 2L+ water and any warm beverages you may desire
– headlamp/flashlight

DRIVERS & SNP holders get priority off the waitlist. drivers will be reimbursed for gas + 50% tip.
