Supa Awesome Bouldering in the Forest!

OVERVIEW

LET’S FREAKING BOULDERRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a trip for all skill levels, everyone is welcome and it will be super fun!!!!
We are going to: THE FOREST WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! It’s on the Blue Ridge Parkway, it’s very pretty and has a lot of great rock!

IF YOU HAVE A CAR AND ARE WILLING TO DRIVE: please let us know!! You will get priority off the waitlist and we can bring more people and pads along! The Forest is about 50 minutes out of town so you will get your gas reimbursed + a 50% tip!

the plan:
9:30am: we gather in front of the student activities building (in the scott stadium parking lot along alderman road) and leave once we have everyone
10:30ish: arrive at the forest
10:45ish: get to rocks and start climbing!
whenever we are done climbing (3:00ish maybe?): head home and grab grub if we want it

YOU BRING:
– food (snacks / lunch) + plenty of water
– climbing shoes (you can rent these from the gear room)
– comfortable shoes you can hike ~15 minutes in
– chalk if you want to
– crash pads if you have them
– layers! it might be chilly
