Blue Hole - Brick Oven Pizza
We’ll go hiking to everyone’s favorite swimming hole, watsaya? We’ll meet at 3:30 Friday afternoon, than drive to the eastern base of the peaceful, pretty, rolling, monumental, serene, tall, sylvan, aquamarine Blue Ridge Mountains near the city reservoir. The hike itself is only a few miles. I’m not sure how many miles, but my mom did it once, so you shouldn’t be worried. Seriously, she slipped into the water and I took a picture. But that wasn’t because it was a long strenuous hike, only because it was my mom.
***After the hike we’ll go to the best pizza place of them all, and hopefully one you will like: the Brick Oven.***
Blue Hole is aka Sugar Hollow, where some club members went last weekend. So if you were disapponted to miss that boat, take this train.
With you bring: clothes for hiking/ swimming/ being dry in a restaurant afterwards. A water of bottle. A snacky-snack of your liking. Possibly a camera. Your wallet to pay for pizza (the $10 or so mentioned below)
It has been known to rain on Fridays in the mid-Atlantic United States, so please bring some kind of extra layer in the backpack too.
