Swimming Hole Trip/Hike at St Mary’s!

OVERVIEW

copying Claire’s hike to St Mary’s wilderness from a couple of weeks ago (thank you Claire!) and leading a trip there before the weather cools off because I loved it so much! It’s an awesome spot/leisurely hike to an amazing and relaxing swimming hole. Let’s enjoy ~nature~ before we hole up for exam szn!! It’s around an hour drive but definitely worth the trek. I don’t have a car so I’m automatically waitlisting everyone until we get drivers! With enough drivers I can take up to 10 people. I plan to leave Friday at 11:15 outside of Echols, get there around 12:15, hike an hour to the swimming hole, swim/eat/vibe for a while, and make it back to the car for the hour ride to get home by 4. Plenty of time for those still wishing to go out for their Friday night!

What to bring:
-food for lunch/snacks
-water
-swimsuit if you want to swim, no problem if you don’t
-towel
-appropriate hiking shoes (there are a lot of river crossings so waterproof ish/sturdy shoes pls!)
-hammock/music/whatever else your heart desires
