OVERVIEW

Is your tent in need of repair? Were you recently on a megatrip where your Club tent seemed less than storm-ready?
Come learn how to repair, clean, and maintain tents!
We will be working to repair club tents that were damaged while on Moab (or are just in need of a little TLC). This is a great opportunity to give back to the club and learn some great skills to take back to your gear to do any needed repairs. A lot of the info we’ll be discussing also applies to clothes, rainwear, backpacks, inflatable mattresses…you name it!
Some specific skills we’ll be doing:
– sewing
– zipper rethreading and care
– waterproofing
– UV radiation proofing
– tent pole restringing
– maybe some down washing?
