Corner of Echols (or wherever you want to be picked up)
Corner of Echols Dorm (or maybe I'll be nice and drop you somewhere close)
Duncan Knob, Luray, VA, USA
After the next three of days of exam hell, I really can’t wait to take a break from everything, and what better way to do that than some light backpacking! And since it’s the weekend before Thanksgiving break, it’s gonna be Thanksgiving themed – which means we’re gonna be bringing as much of a Thanksgiving dinner to enjoy in the great outdoors. The loop I have planned shouldn’t be very strenuous – 9ish miles and ~2000 feet of elevation change – and we can make extra time to check out vistas or just chill out whenever. There should be a nice campsite not far from the summit of Duncan’s Knob where we can stay overnight.
