OVERVIEW

Disclaimer #1: This is a weird trip for logistics, please read all of this before signing up
Disclaimer #2: You do not have to sign up for all 5 days, you can sign up for as many and whichever you want to
Disclaimer #3: Weather is a bit iffy at the beginning of next week, days may be cancelled for weather but I’ll try to keep everyone posted.

Have you ever wanted to do the RT, but the timing hasn’t worked out? Do you not have a final at least one of the days next week? Then hot damn do I have a trip for you.

I’ve had this trip floating around my brain for the last several months, and I finally found time to do it. The idea here is that I’m gonna be doing the full RT at 12:30 or 1:00ish every day next week (with Sujith for at least the first 2 days), and you all can sign up for as many or as few days as you want to. The logistics for organizing bikes may get a bit complicated, which is why the number of people allowed on this trip is so high, but that may or may not be the actual cap depending on how many different people want to go on which days. Also if you end up signing up for too many days and not being able to handle it, don’t worry if you have to drop specific days, I realize that may become an issue and I’ll just work around it.

The full RT is around 23 miles and around 1.5k feet of climbing, so you should have some experience mountain biking, but this isn’t a super advanced thing. It will likely take upwards of 3 to 4 hours each day, so block out from around 1:00 to 5:30 to be on the safe side, but we will likely be done faster than that. If you want to check out more about the trail they have a wonderful website here: https://www.rivannatrails.org.
