The Little Calf (Mountain) Jumped Over The Moon

OVERVIEW

Come howl at the full moon with us on the lovely Little Calf Mountain!! This is a great adventure to let out some stress towards the end of the week and get nice and cozy with mother nature at her finest. We will be doing a short hike up the mountain in the moonlight and since it will be dark we won’t move very fast, so this is a very beginner-friendly trip! The hike is in Shenandoah national park so people with park passes will get priority off the waitlist. We also need 2 drivers to get everybody there so drivers get priority as well!! Come on out!!

Itinerary:
6:30 PM meet at Echols
7:15 arrive at the Beagle Gap parking area
7:45 arrive at Little Calf Mountain for full moon photosynthesizing, spooky snacks, and perhaps a little manifestation for good things in the next moon cycle
8:30 start the hike back
9:00 head back to grounds
9:45 arrive at Echols
9:46 go to sleep!!!

And what to bring:
“Midnight” snack
Layers
A solid headlamp (extra important!!)
Sturdy shoes
Mask for the car

**If we don’t have enough people with park passes sign up, we will either split the cost as a group or do a longer hike into the park. We will address this as a group if it comes up!
