The Priest Backpacking

OVERVIEW

The Priest is part of the AT in George Washington National Forest.

We’ll leave Saturday and hike to the top and camp in or near the shelter. Sunday we’ll either hike back down or make a loop around Crabtree Falls Trail (depending on if we get more than 1 driver).

Its probly going to get really cold(below freezing), so bring lots of layers and a warm sleeping bag.

The first day is 4 miles of uphill, then the next day will all be downhill.

backpack
sleeping bag/pad
eating utensils
warm stuff
2+Liters of water
