There is so much trash on the ground. HELP!

HELLOOO litter-hating ODC folks!

Perhaps worse than throwing trash on the ground is leaving it on the ground. You know what brings feelings of indescribable ecstasy? Picking up trash and putting it in its rightful place— the trash. Every piece of trash cleared from the ground grants you good fortune and one wish to be granted. It’s like a shooting star or a dandelion or an eyelash. I encourage you to wish for the same thing every single time to maximize the potential of its magic. That is my strategy at least.

Anywhooooo… UVA Sustainability puts together corner cleanups every once in a while and there is one this Sunday. YIPPEE!! Join Alana and I in this epic adventure of taking care of our environment and building lifelong bonds with all of the like-minded, good-natured people we will be working with.

No need to bring anything except yourself, a good attitude, and appropriate clothing. Also there will be bagels. BOOM!

Schedule:
10:40— meet on the lawn side of the Rotunda
10:50— waltz on over to the corner
11— PICK UP SOME TRASH
12:00— finish up and continue with our beautiful little lives
