Haters may think that tie-dye is both out of season and out of style. I beg to differ. If anything screams good vibes and awesomeness, it’s a harmony of colors emanating from your soul as expressed by your shirt. Anyways, let’s meet on the lawn, make tie-dye shirts, and relax while the weather is still nice and kick the weekend off to a good start!
What:
Here’s a link on how to tie dye a shirt: https://sarahmaker.com/how-to-tie-dye/
Where:
On the lawn near the rotunda, we’ll find a shady spot
When:
Friday October 13th
3:30 pm – meet on the lawn, do the thing
It won’t take more than 15 minutes to tie-dye, but I envision us vibing and doing whatever else we want (frisbee? Snacks? etc) on the lawn until we’re bored.
5:00 ish – end time, go our separate colorful ways
What to bring:
A white shirt (cotton works best I find)
Water bottle (to fill up and soak shirts with, I’ll bring an extra clean one too in case)
Extra credit: wear a tie-dye shirt
Extra extra credit: a speaker for music
What I’ll bring:
Rubber Bands
Dyes
Bags to keep the shirt in
Gloves
Some paper to set your shirt on to keep it out of the grass
