Tlc – Waterfalls

OVERVIEW

Do you save all your work for Sunday night (be honest)? Well, let’s hike Sunday and enjoy the outdoors. Skyline drive fully opened this week, so we’re headed an hour away into the Shenandoah National Park to Jones Run/Doyles River. It’s a 7 mile circuit with several waterfalls. We’ll take some group photos and stop for lunch along the way.

Nitties and gritties:
9am – depart from Bonnycastle Circle with full tanks of gas (there’s another trip leaving at 9am at Echols, so don’t get confused)
10am – arrive at trailhead
3pm – finish hike
4pm – back at cville

What to bring:
– at least one water bottle
– good hiking shoes (bonus points for fun socks)
– lunch
– warm layers (forecasted freezing temperatures all day)
– car (for waitlist priority)

Note: I can only seat 3-4, so more spots will open up as drivers sign up for this trip. The club provides reimbursement for gas plus 50% tip.
