Trad/Toprope Climbing & Knot Workshop

OVERVIEW

We will be trad climbing easy routes (like 5.5) and toproping harder routes (5.8-5.11).

In order to trad climb you must have gone on the intro to trad workshop held last week and you must have the instructor’s approval. Otherwise you can only trad climb with a backup toprope.

Anyone who already knows how to belay can come on the trip to climb on toprope.

The knot workshop is useful if you want to learn how to set up topropes and in more advanced climbing situations.

You must bring:

water, rain gear (just in case), lunch/snacks.
