TRAIL BIRTHING…a toddler phase??

OVERVIEW

Hello helloooo, my woodsy people!!!!

Suddenly we’re all sitting in classrooms again but those trails haven’t stopped chirping and I think we gotta chirp right along with them. Oh yeah, it’s time to jump, skip, and jumble through our wondrous ohill woods and see how we can give our landscape some love as we settle into another year together.

For those of you who are new to ODC, WELCOME!!!! For the returners, remember how we conceived, labored, and birthed a trail from Slaughter last spring? Welllll her surrounding trees and bushes have grown PLETHOROUSLY this summer so we’re gonna hop in the trail corridor this Saturday for some snip-snip trimming, trash clean-up, and overall hang-out / trail visioning time!!

This will be a part of Adventure Week hosted by the Tri Team, which means we’ll have many a comrade coming to marinate in the magic of trail maintenance. Alas, as our trail corridor is quite skinnnyyy and supplies limited, I’m going to cap this trip at 8 people and prioritize those who trail birthed last year so they can help introduce our Adventure Week goers to the magic of ohill trail maintenance. Never fear though — we’ll all be bumping around in the woods together soon, and our trips will include as many spots as rocks that Will & Luke aggressively moved last year (aka infinite). So, if not Saturday, I’ll SEE ALL YOU AMAZING FRIENDS IN THE WOODS SO SOON <3

Here’s da plan:
9AM: Gather at Slaughter, Bodo’s mmm so niceee, trails mmm so nice too
9-10:59.69 AM: Snip snip wow this trail be growing up fast oohhh trash I pick you up why you here let’s discuss our wider culture of throwing away our waste what even is waste anyway how can we better show our world that we love it?
11 — go forth into the world and may you find trails and/or birth in all your desired capacities!!

Also, cover them toes, probably with shoes, dressing in layers is recommended, and bring yoself some liquid to lubricate those insides!!
