TRAIL BIRTHING: EXTENDING KELLOGG KRUISE

OVERVIEW

Helloooo, my fellow trail wanderers!!! Our last trail building was such a huge success (did someone say move a bridge???) that we’re now looking forward onto DESIGNING!!! THE!! NEXT TRAIL!!!! (Contingent upon environmental costs)

This trip will be a fun workshop with Jason from CAMBC to deliberate on the environmental and social implications of extending our trail down to Slaughter (just a wee way off from the ending). If we decide it’s a go, we’ll tromp through the woods and lay out where we want it to go!!

I’m super pumped for this trip because it will give our BOOMIN ODC crew a chance to take more ownership in our work and understanding the trail process in its entirety. Anyone is welcome to hop on the waitlist and become one with your inner trail, but because we only have four spots, we’ll prioritize those who have gotten cozy with our trail magic already this fall (aka gone on the other two trail building trips)!!!

SO HERES THE GRANDISIMO PLAN:
5:00 PM meet at the end of the Kellogg Kruise (Cellogg Cruise?) trail, basically across from Kellogg (I’ll give more instructions if needed)
5-6:45ish: Deliberate trail building, possibly GET IN THOSE WOODS!!!! to check it out ourselves
6:46 PM: Go about our merry nights soaking in the fresh Oxygen…and dare I say, magic???? from our beloved woods <3 (and maybe go run across the bridge we put in because it is lookin so niceeee!).

Bring along some hydration and snacckies if ya want, I’ll either have some freshly baked foodstuffs for everyone and/or uno snack from a local vendor! (Will have more details in trip questions).
