Hello all you post-hibernation, blinking, bleary-eyed, spring creatures!
This wonderful weather has got me hankering for some time with my hands in the dirt and dirt in my hands. What better way to accomplish this than grubbing down around the back of Slaughter on our new trail? We will be continuing to bench the trail which involves lots of tool swinging, virginia red clay and good times.
Our Spectacular Saturday Spring trail crew will gather at 9am in the Slaughter parking lot to munch on some bagels prior to trail work and finish around 12pm. Anyone is welcome to help summon this glorious trail into existence, no experience necessary.
Make sure to bring:
-water
-closed-toe shoes
-a snack perhaps ?
Ideally, ONE car is needed to shuttle our wonderful tools and bagels in the AM and post trail-work back to the shed.
