Trail Building at Byrom Forest Preserve Park

OVERVIEW

Come join me to build some trails out in Byrom Forest Preserve Park!

A few reasons why you should come:
– Byrom Park is gorgeous
– contribute to the Cville area’s rad outdoorsiness
– hacking into the Earth with a McCleod hoe is extremely satisfying
– …and is also a great hangover remedy
– Meet Tucker Rollins, the bespectacled gentleman who built the Preddy Creek trails and plays the fiddle at the Whiskey Jar on Tuesdays.

We’ll leave from Echols at 8:30am, build trails from 9am-12pm, head back to Cville.

Directions from town (takes about 45 minutes from C-ville):
1. Follow Garth Road from town to the Piedmont Store in Whitehall
2. Go around the curve to the right onto Route 810 (do not go straight to Sugar Hollow)
3. Follow Route 810 for 7.8 miles and the park entrance will be on the left

As usual, drivers get reimbursed plus tip! I can take up to 5 people until another car signs up.
