Walnut Creek Park
Tomorrow (Thursday) is the monthly trail work day at Walnut Creek Park. Time to give back, for those of you biking/running/hiking enthusiasts who use the trails. If you plan on using the trails there at some point this is a great way to check them out, and a good service to your future use and the use of others. Or if you just want to get into or like trail work, this is a great place to learn how.
Trail work starts at 6pm, but if we get there early we could ride around for a bit, then do some more riding (followed by a swim! 🙂 after. If you want to come but can’t leave when we do, you can meet us out there at 6.
The club has 5 awesome bikes that want to get out there and play, so please, give ’em some good use!
All riding experience levels welcome.
I imagine we’ll be able to get in free, but please bring $3 (for county residents) or $4.50 (city residents) for the entrance fee, just in case.
The Club provides: Bikes/helmets, water bottles (and I have water or all sorts of Gatorade, bike trunk racks for cars
You should bring: your bike/helmet/whatever other riding gear you want, plenty o’ water, work gloves, biking wear, working clothes (if different than biking wear :), towel, change of clothes for after, entrance fee
