If you’d like to get out of town for a trail run come out to
Walnut Creek Park and enjoy a relaxing run along its large network of trails. I’m thinking of running the 3 mile loop that’s used for 5K races, as best as I can remember it, but we can run a little further if everyone’s up for it. If you’re a beginning runner or new to trail running the park is a great place to start, as the hills are easy and aren’t too rocky. I can also share a trail running technique that many find increases their endurance and stability.
Please bring: -appropriate running attire
-water to drink
-a sweatshirt to stay warm in after the run in case the predicted afternoon thunderstorm arrives early
Club provides a seat in a car and carpool money. See you soon!
