Trans/GNC Swimming Trip

OVERVIEW

Hey y’all!
Just like the warmer weather the Trans/GNC affinity trips are back. (I know this is not a great analogy bc it’s been rather cold for a bit, but we can ignore that.) This time we will be doing a very fun, cool, and snazzy swimming trip to Sugar Hollow. This trip is gonna be so fun, cool, and snazzy that it inspired me to write a very mediocre poem:
I like swimming
Yes, I do.
I like swimming,
What about you?

So! The plan:
5:30 – convene at Echols
6ish – arrive at sugar hollow/meander to the swimming hole
6:30ish – swim swim swim
8:30ish – return!

Things to bring: swimwear, shoes, towel, and a very mediocre poem

Important note: In all seriousness though (not that my poem wasn’t super serious) this is a Trans/GNC affinity trip, so we ask that if you do not consider yourself a part of the trans or gender nonconforming community that you do not sign up for this trip. We are doing this trip because we think that it is important to provide trans friendly spaces in the outdoors, particularly for activities such as swimming.
