OVERVIEW

*QUICK NOTE: Pushing this adventure back to next week after consulting with some tree- and people-friends, so please join if you couldn’t come before and we will tree commune it up!!*

Do you want to know the best thing about this socially-distanced fall? Trees don’t have to wear masks…..so that means we can hug them!!!! Come gather from 11:30-1 this Sunday to hang out, have some fun, and give our kindest regards to these beautiful photosynthesizing machines 🙂

We’ll meet at the corner of Echols and then amble, meander, and glib right up to our very own trails behind our finest hill of the observatories, where we’ll then embark upon a short exploration saying hellooo to the trails!! I’ll bring a tree-identification book, some pencils of the colored variety, and ~fancy note paper~ so we can stop to identify the trees, write down any thoughts/feelings/interpretive art, and hike a lil loop through the trails before walking back.

What to bring:
Your wonderful self, a mask, some water/snack if you’re feeling it!

P.S. I just learned that thousands of people, commonly aboriginal tribes from Australia, make music with leaves…actual leaves!!…so we can admire that and maybe add a lil music in our adventure as well.
