Trip Leader Workshop

OVERVIEW

YOoooooooooOOOOooooooo,

It’s 4/20 my dudes. If you haven’t lead a trip with the club by now, it’s high time you learned.

Come to the Trip Leader Workshop on Friday, April 20!! It’s gonna be dope. The trip will be jointly lead by myself and another officer.

Meeting location will be in Dell 2, room 103. The workshop will start rollin’ at 7:00 PM sharp (+- 69 seconds). We’ll teach ya the ins and outs of leading trips with the club.

THE WHY:

The best way to get on trips is to lead them!!

– Get to hang out where you want and when you want with your fellow
Outdoorsy friends
– Get to make (and leave others with) unforgettable memories
– Gain valuable leadership experience
– Lead 4 trips and get your dues fully reimbursed!
– Lead 3 trips and apply to be an officer!
– Get reimbursed for Park passes and WFA certifications

THE WHO:

Anyone in the club can lead trips!

THE HOW:

Technically, to become a trip leader, you can also read the Trip Leader’s Manual on our website (link below). Then you can email the officers saying you’ve done so and would like trip leader privileges. But, the workshop is an easy alternative that allows for questions and hanging out. Also, the officers leading this workshop are seasoned, battle-scarred, and grizzly veteran trip leaders with lots of tips and advice – come and we shall bestow wisdom upon thou.

**I set the workshop for 1 hr and 30 mins. But I’ll be blazing through information to try to getcha out of there in an hour tops. Gives you plenty of time to doll yourself up for the Shred Shack party of the century!!!!!!!!!
