TRIP LEADER WORKSHOPPP

OVERVIEW

see those logs? see the little guy? yeah, you best believe he’s rather daunted. that’s how i felt before i led my first trip. i had a litany of crazy fears coursing through my psyche. they included, but were not limited to:
what if a bear runs out of nowhere and eats all the people on my adventure??
what if a tree comes to life, whispers the secrets of the earth to us, and then we all forget what they were because nobody wrote it down??
what if all the people on my adventure engage in a bloody, drawn out, hand-combat battle royale to determine who can eat the most canned tuna, and i can do nought but watch??

these are all valid fears. BUT!! they are not rational. there are more realistic issues to leading a trip, such as:
how do I post it?
where should I go?
what are the rules of leading a sport trip?

well, you are in luck, dearest reader (dearest friend, after this trip leader workshop, dare i say). Your valiant President (Parker “Oh So Cool” Sims”), is teaming up with Katie “WHEEEEREEEEES MY SUPPER SUITTT?” Ullman, and I, Pietro “Whisperer of the Leaves” Ciliberto to guide you through the ropes of leading a trip.

The plan is simple:
– you will come to the shrack at 6:15 pm on Wednesday November 5th
– we will impart wisdom and show you the ropes of trip leading
– you will ask outrageously inquistitive and thought provoking questions
– we will attempt to answer
– we will make you trip leaders
– you will leave, filled with the joy only a newly educated trip leader can experience
– you will lead trips
