Tuesday Spoon Carving!

OVERVIEW

Helloooo my fellow utensil users! Are you heading home in a few days, feeling disappointed with your grades, and wishing you had something more concrete than a hastily written research paper to show your parents? This just might be the trip for you! In a few short hours, you can carve your very own wooden spoon that is sure to make any dad say, “I’m proud of you, Y/N.” Sound enticing? Read on!

Details:
We will meet in the shred shack backyard at 1pm this Tuesday (The day after tomorrow!). After selecting a piece of wood, you will gradually burn out a bowl using a coal from the fire and then carve the handle and head of the spoon. This takes some patience but is not too difficult. In the time we have, we will be able to get most of the way through the process. This trip is open to anyone, not just the Chaco-wearing, Nalgene-owning, EVSC majors out there.
