Join us for a quick little midweek break!!! We’re gonna hike up Turk Mountain, watch the sunset, and forget about all our stresses. Beginner friendly, but harder than the sidewalk.
Unfortunately we do not have a car so drivers are needed! If you have a car you will get priority and will also be eligible for gas reimbursement if you arrive at Echols with a full tank of gas. We will add more people to this trip if we get multiple drivers.
We have one America the Beautiful national parks pass that will cover one car with up to five people, so if you have a parks pass you will ALSO get priority off the waitlist.
Schedule:
4:15 Depart for Turk Mountain
5:00 Arrive
5:45 Reach summit
6:11 Enjoy sunset and vibes
6:15 Hike down
7:00 Drive back
7:45 Home sweet home
You Bring:
Hiking shoes/boots with good traction
Water
Snacks/dinner if you want
Layers: the temp is supposed to be in the low 40s
Parks pass if you have one
headlamp/flashlight for after dark
