Turk Mountain Hike!

OVERVIEW

Come hike Turk Mountain! It’s a 2.5 mile out and back in the southern part of Shenandoah. There’s a rock scramble at the end and an awesome overlook! There’s some up and down, but it’s a short trail so we can take all the time we need.

The plan:
12:00 – Meet at Echols and head out to the trail once everyone’s arrived
12:45 – Arrive at the trailhead and start hiking!
~1:30 – Get to the summit and enjoy some awesome views
about 2:15 (depending on our pace): arrive back at the car and head back to UVA
some time around 3:00 Back at grounds!

You bring:
yourself
snacks! (lunch?)
enough water to get through a 2.5 mile hike with hills
hiking clothes and shoes
a daypack/backpack

I bring:
the same things
some extra snacks
a first aid kit
