Use a First Year like Simba on Humpback Rock

OVERVIEW

Are you a new student to UVA, an upperclassman who figured out how to avoid going on this hike, or a seasoned veteran that just wants to get that morning mountain air in your system? We’re going to the classic UVA hike Humpback Rock!!!. This is a hike that almost every club at UVA does as a bonding event at least once due to its closeness and freeness, but we of the club are always master of the Rock because we always take the roped off short cut since its 100% faster and we can always handle a good challenge. The plan for the morning: Meet at Echols at 5:30, Drive to the Rocks, HIKE, Use a First-year like Simba and Baptise him to the rising sun to the “Circle of Life”, Wander down, Get back to Grounds before your 9 AM class.

What you need:
Good Shoes
Water Bottle
Headlamp/Flashlight
Something to keep you warm if you chill easily (flannel for example)
Snacks if you get the munches
Musical instrument (optional but always adds fun)
An ability to make and take mems
