OVERVIEW

Visible Records! A wonderful place – It’s a space for art, community organizing, localized social justice and special dirt beds for baby green things to grow…Yeah we’re talking about gardens!

Invisible Records has two gardens: one, Common Field, produces crops for the local Visions of Liberation Free Store, while their other plot, Solitary Gardens, is an offshoot of a nationally-known peaceful movement for prison abolition and redefinition. In these gardens, the plots are made to the exact size of a solitary confinement cell, and people who are currently imprisoned in solitary confinement can request what be grown in this (very small) plot. You can learn more about the movement at Visible Records or the Solitary Gardens movement at large.
