Volunteer at Morven Kitchen Garden, feel fulfilled, and perhaps get to take home a fresh lil veggie!

OVERVIEW

Morven Kitchen Garden is UVA’s project in sustainable agriculture, and it’s a really cool place to volunteer. We’ve never been, and thought it would be great to check out this Friday. This trip is beginner-friendly, and the volunteer work is mostly small manual labor tasks, like harvesting produce, weeding, etc. Be sure to bring water/snacks and clothes you feel comfortable gardening and getting dirty in!

The plan:
2:30 pm – leave from corner of Echols
3 – 5 pm – volunteer!
5:30 pm – back home
