Waitlist Relief Sunrise Hike!! Good Times Good Views Good People

OVERVIEW

Have you been wanting to get more involved in the outdoors club, but you just keep getting waitlisted on all of the cool trips? Not to toot my own horn as a trip leader, but here’s your chance to change that! As an effort to get more people involved in the outdoors community, and a slightly more desperate effort to make new friends, I’m going to try to let as many first-timers on this trip as possible, so for your own sake maybe shoot me a comment about how few trips you’ve been on.

The sun rises at approximately 6:46am, and the hike itself is 1.5 or so miles (3 miles round trip). It’s an intermediate hike, and moving quickly would be beneficial to our soaking up of the whole sunrise, so be ready!

We’ll meet at Echols at 4:20am (because 4:30am is too arbitrary), drive an hour or so to the trailhead (which is conveniently located by the Montebello Fish Hatchery), hike to the top, bask in the glory of our world, and mosey on down. Then, we’ll drive back and get home around 9-9:15ish.
