we back baby!

you may not have realized my absence when i was abroad last semester but i realized the absence of good ole SNP in my life, so i’m ready to make my presence known in the outdoors club for 2019. copenhagen was as flat as it gets so i need some peak experiences back in my life. if you happen to remember me from last year, i’m a big fan of early mornings so sunrise hikes are kinda my jam BUT i’m refraining for this saturday bc i expect you all to be attending the ODC party friday night. being considerate & allowing everyone to still cop some zzzz’s by doing a late morning hike.

now spy rock has blown me away with its 360° views before but it’s also let me down & i’ve ended up in a cloud with no vision 5 ft in front of me, so let’s see what this weekend brings. the forecast is full sun so i’m full of hope, but it’ll be an adventure nonetheless.

the mission:
-10:30 AM: meet at echols
-12 PM: arrive at spy rock parking (1.6 miles hike)
-1:30 PM: veggies + vibes + views (aka picnic at the peak with pleasant people)
-by 4:30 PM: arrive back at echols
-7-10 PM go to roots for dinner (not part of the trip but it is strongly encouraged that you visit me during by shift)

it’s a moderate ~3 mile total with a lil rock scramble at the top

BRING:
-layered clothing
-comfy shoes
-2L+ of water
-lunch to eat at the top
-muscial instruments, killer playlists, games and/or quality stories
