Weekend in the Mountains

OVERVIEW

Though cabins were booked up for MLK weekend, I was able to get the last of the Cass cabins for the following weekend. So come for a weekend out of C’ville in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia! We’ll leave Friday night, with an earlier shift if possible to ski Friday afternoon, ski all day Saturday, and as late as people want to Sunday. Weekend apres-ski highlights will possibly include egg tosses at window panes, cheese puff catching contests, wooden beam-crossing dance-offs, and if things really get crazy, winter night creek swimming, though all of this is yet to be determined by the vibe.

The cost of lodging will be about $15/night, and less the greater number of people who sign up. Snowshoe lift tickets are $70 for those without ski passes, though possibly available for $59 at Freestyle, where you can also rent gear for those without it at about $30 for skis/board and boots.
