Weekly Wander #7: Volunteer at Camp Holiday Trails!!!

OVERVIEW

FOR THIS WEEK’S WANDER……. we will be venturing to the one and only Camp Holiday Trails!!!! We will be volunteering with trail maintenance and other outdoor tasks that the camp needs a hand with! Camp Holiday Trails is a year-round non-profit camp for children with medical needs based in Charlottesville. They rely on volunteers to keep the camp and trails in good shape and YOU should join ODC this Friday to help make this possible! Also you will get a tasty bagel for your hard work!

note: this is part of the Weekly Wander series of beginner-friendly, regular trips around grounds. ((this one is not quite around grounds but shhh.)) no experience necessary & welcome especially to first-years and new members!!

The plan:
12:30pm- Meet at the Shrack
12:40- Depart from the Shrack
1pm- Arrive at Camp Holiday Trails
1-4pm- Volunteer!!!
4:15- Get back to the Shrack

What you need:
Clothes that you are okay working outside with/getting dirty
Close-toed shoes
Water/water bottle

What we will supply
Bagels and schmear (oooohhh ahhhh)
