White Mountain National Park
This will be a multi-purpose trip to the White Mountains in New Hampshire! We will be camping each night in a campsite inside the National Park. IT WILL BE COLD. The average high for early March is around 35 degrees, and this has been a cold winter so far. IT WILL BE COLD AND WE WILL BE SLEEPING IN TENTS! It WILL get into single digits while we are sleeping. The White Mountains are absolutely BEAUTIFUL and while there we can decide on what to do each day. There is some great Cross-Country Skiing trails inside and outside the park that we will go to. X-Country skiing is relatively easy to pickup, so this is not a pre-requisite. We will, weather permitting, spend at least one night camping off of one of the many hiking trails inside the park. There is no set plan for each day, so we may ski a lot, hike a lot, or just chill in the campsite. Some of the various sights we will see are The Old Man in the Mountain, Franconia Falls, and, of course, the White Mountains in their grandeur. Check out one of the links to see Franconia Falls (we can ski to this)!
