The refreshing water, and fluffy clouds of whitewater goodness are calling you! So lets go paddling!
The venue will depend on who all signs up, and this trip will take the form of either a Walnut Creek (Intro) session or a (Beginner) River trip – so sign up regardless of your level.
Both an intro and beginner river trip on the same day is not all that likely this time as we’re getting a late start so that people can recover from their previous day’s festivities! and I’ll probably go with whatever the majority wants, but anything is possible!
Either way – I’ll most likely need a driver for shuttle, and/or to pickup people on campus.
If you have your own boat and gear and can transport it you’re automatically in.
Everyone gets waitlisted till I figure out the destination. I’m limiting the trip to 4 newbs unless some more advanced paddlers sign up.
The club provides wetsuits/semi-drytops/splashtops, but bring non-cotton layers, bathing suit, towel.
And in the (likely) event of a river destination, bring your own lunch/snacks, or $ to procure them at Sheetz! And if you’re of age, bring your ID in case we detour to a brewery after wards!
I’ll hatch a plan and give everyone a heads up on where I think we’re going Friday night.
One last thing – I hate transporting around excess gear so don’t sign up if you’re going to bail on me the morning of!
