A rare find, this is the first time this course has been offered in Cville in several years.
“Wilderness” can be:
> a natural area (forest, sea, desert, etc.)
> a rural area not near a hospital
> an urban disaster zone (natural or terrorist)
… any situation in which time of injury to time in hospital is more than an hour.
Realllly learn well how to care for yourself or others in case of medical emergency in any of the above settings.
Enjoy in-depth instruction and shared-learning conversation about preventing, and treating a wide variety of medical emergencies. This is the SOLO course, resulting in a 3-year WFR certification. Camping and meals available.
Learn through doing: multiple times each course day, hands-on practice caring for mock patients.

Fee and donation: We’ve worked hard to keep the course fee as low as possible. $575 is cheaper than most any other WFR course, and up to $2,900 in course proceeds will go to Green Adventure Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
