As a part of the 203rd Walnut Creekathon festivities we will be setting off on a 4 mile hike that skirts about half of Walnut Creek Park. After the hike we will reconvene with all of our awesome outdoor buddies and spend the remainder of the afternoon in blissful relaxation.
If you’re planning on going on this trip, please sign up for the general “203rd Annual Walnut Creekathon” adventure as well so the club knows how much food to purchase.
The club provides the main food for the event: meat, bread, and condiments. Please bring along any food you’d like to share to this picnic-adventure party. (Salad, veggies, dip, chips, soft drinks, cookies, brownies, etc. are all happy additions).
Also, don’t bring along any money because the trip is free!! (The park entry fee doesn’t apply after Labor Day.)
