Winter Break Climbing!

OVERVIEW

***Drivers Needed**** Each car will be reimbursed by the club up to $150. The remainder will be split between the participants. Drivers receive a $20 tip.

The logistics of this trip are pending me finishing finals and consulting guidebooks. Right now I want to get a list of who is going and more importantly who can drive.

I will give preference to drivers and climbing trip leaders.

The rough plan is to leave Charlottesville later on the 11th of January and drive to a camping spot somewhere in Tennessee. We will then spend the next 6 days climbing and return late the night of the 17th. Classes start Wednesday the 18th.

I can open up the gear room before we depart on the 11th.

Cost: Gas cost after $150 per car will be split among attendees. I expect this wont be that much. Everyone will need to buy their own food or arrange to cook in groups.

Tent (or arrangements to share a tent)
sleeping bag
sleeping pad

jackets
layers
shoes
toiletries

Climbing shoes
Harness
Chalk

water
food (We can discuss how we want to do this once the attendees are finalized)

Things I’ll bring:

Quickdraws/Alpine Draws
Static and Dynamic Ropes
First aid kit
Extra harnesses in case one breaks (joking)
