WHO SHOULD SIGN UP?
Skiers and boarders of all levels are welcome. If you have any previous experience Stratton will have something that fits your level of expertise. By signing up here you are saying that you are at least 90% sure you will be attending. By November 1st, the sign up deadline, you must be 99.9999% sure you can attend. If it is too early for you to make this commitment, but would like to go, please email me, and I will see what we can work out.
LODGING DETAILS
We will be staying in one large house, only about a 10 minute drive from the slopes. Check it out: http://www.vermontproperty.com/detail/Vermont/stratton-rentals/542/ Since the house only has 12 bed spots, some people will have to crash on couches or the floor each night. The process for determining who doesn’t get a bed will be very fair though (read: “First come, first serve” ). If you have an air mattress that can be packed and brought up easily, you are encouraged to bring it. The cost of lodging assumes 22 people, so if more people sign up the cost will be adjusted.
PAYMENT/WAITLIST
I will require a deposit of $120 by November 10th to make sure you keep your spot on the trip. This will not be refundable, but if you find someone to take your spot it will be transferable. Upon signing up everyone will be waitlisted. Once I have received your money you will be officially added to the trip. We will provide the $5 per night per person refund from the club after the trip has been completed.
POTENTIAL DRIVERS
Stratton Mountain is a ways away and will hopefully have ridiculous amounts of snow. By signing up to drive please be aware that you will not only be driving all the way to Vermont, but you will be driving on hilly, snow-covered roads while you are there! SUV’s are recommended, but all drivers are welcome. I will be setting up carpools depending on the amount of drivers and where people are leaving from.
HELP MAKE THIS TRIP EASIER TO ORGANIZE!
I will be departing from either C-ville or the D.C. area very early on January 4th. In the comments section of the trip questionnaire please provide information about where you will be on the 4th (so I know where potential drivers will be originating from, and where they will be picking up passengers), as well as if you plan on returning to C-ville or your home after the trip. If you are not sure at this time, that is fine, just let me know. If you are able to be congregate in C-ville on the 4th please let me know that as well. Thanks a lot!
–Please email Chris Chin or Myself with any questions you may have about the trip.
THE FIRST 25 PEOPLE WHO HAVE SIGNED UP ARE GIVEN FIRST CHOICE ON THE TRIP. IF ANY DO NOT PAY THE $120 AMOUNT BY THE DEADLINE OF NOV 10TH, THEY WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE TRIP AND THEN PEOPLE FROM THE WAITLIST WILL BE PICKED.
