Wintergreen Season Pass – $169 Group Rate

OVERVIEW

Hey boys and girls! I know you’ve seen the Snowshoe pass deal already and are wondering how could anything beat it?!

Well Wintergreen’s not going to do it, but it’s still not bad.

For the 2007-2008 season, we’ve knocked another $10 off last year’s already discounted rate of $179. So that means that 169 dollars gets you a season pass to our home mountain of Wintergreen.

Wait… isn’t the Snowshoe pass only $200? Why not spend the marginal $31 to get access to a much better mountain?

Short answer is: Do spend the extra $31 and get a Snowshoe pass IN ADDITION to the wintergreen pass.

Wintergreen is only 45 minutes away from UVA which is REALLY close.

Proximity is key here.

You can hit up the mountain before lab in the morning, or after class to relax. Nothing quite like blowing off the frustrations of Orgo with a few runs down the highlands.

If you’re looking to pick up skiing or snowboarding this year, this is the pass for you. Wintergreen is perfect for learning! A standard midweek lift ticket is $47. You make the money from the pass back in 4 visits! $169 isn’t bad for an entire season of riding, considering we have a ton of trips there (usually on the order of 2-4 a week, with free gas!). The cost of a pass is roughly equivalent to one of my textbooks, a week’s worth of meals at the dining hall, or a weekend in DC. That’s a steal for an entire season of riding.

The way this deal works is slightly different from the Snowshoe pass. As you sign up you get placed on the waitlist and once I’ve received your money/payment then you get placed on the list.

Or if you feel more comfortable handing it me in person you can contact me and we can arrange a time to meet up (I’m wary of the post office to this day). You can also pay by credit card. You can go pick up your pass at Wintergreen 2 days after your money and form have been turned in. I’m running a rolling schedule here where I turn in new forms every week starting November 17th. I can do this up to December 14th at which point the deal is done.

Another cool part of this deal is you don’t need to be in the Outdoor’s Club to take advantage of our hookups. Tell your friends, tell your professors (seriously some come with), tell your mom.
